TAI AMRI is a Jerseyite/Philadelphian Young Adult Friend, born & raised an African-American Quaker. He received a B.A. in Writing & Poetics from The Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Na...ropa University in Boulder, Colorado, & is currently on a spiritual pause from a M.Div. program at Pacific School of Religion. He believes in the divinity of all beings & the natural r/evolution of all things, but in particular, he pursues his acknowledgement of child-like faith through his involvement as a first grade teacher in Germantown, Philadelphia.

CHERYL QUIMBA is a graduate of St. Mary's College of Maryland, & has been writing poetry since the day she first picked up a crayon & learned how to put letters together. She is currently biding time in the working world until she returns to school, & has plans to teach & continue writing poetry.

KIM GEK LIN SHORT is the author of two full-length collections, The Bugging Watch & Other Exhibits & the forthcoming China Cowboy, both from Tarpaulin Sky Press. Her chapbook Run was the 2010 Golden Gloves selection from Rope-A-Dope, & a previous chapbook, The Residents, is available from Dancing Girl Press. You can visit Kim at a reading or in Philadelphia, where she lives with her husband & daughter.

MICHELLE PUCKETT earned her BA in Writing from Naropa University & her MFA in poetry from Mills College. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming from Hot Metal Bridge, Bang Out San Francisco, The Walrus, Flaneur Foundry, A Trunk of Delerium, & Monkey Puzzle Magazine. She works as the Events Coordinator for Tarpaulin Sky & was the recipient of the 2009 Mary Merritt Prize in Poetry.
